In celebration of 27 years of educating professionals who support victims and work to eliminate domestic violence, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation is proud to present the 2024 program at KCMBA's event center from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024. The event will include continental breakfast and hot lunch.

Domestic Violence Alliance is an annual day-long seminar held each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Since 1998 KCMBF the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation has provided education to over 2,200 professionals who work to combat domestic violence. Our goal is to enrich the community and provide content relevant to attorneys, judges, social workers, therapists, law enforcement professionals, and members of the public at large. 

This program is made possible by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation, a grant from the Missouri Lawyer Trust Account Foundation, and by donations from people like you. One of KCMBF's three Legal Connection programs, Domestic Violence Alliance (formerly the Domestic Violence & Children Interdisciplinary Conference) is an annual day-long seminar held each October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  Under the leadership of KCMBF, various legal, social service, medical and law enforcement agencies across the Kansas City metropolitan area collaborate to plan, promote and attend the seminar aimed at providing essential interdisciplinary information, education and support to these crucial partners who support victims and work to eliminate domestic violence.
