Annual Review of MO/KS Construction Law: Cases & Legislation

This program will cover Missouri and Kansas legislation and area case law that affects your construction law practice. A must-attend for practitioners at all levels to educate themselves about the latest developments in the local construction law arena. Panelists will share descriptions and observations on various new Missouri and Kansas laws for changes to civil procedure, damage limits, insurance, and building issues, etc. that impact your practice across state lines. This review on the state of construction law will include an overview of new legislation, as well as suggestions about how to communicate these changes to your owner, public entity, contractor, subcontractor and/or supplier clientele. The second portion of this program will review Missouri and Kansas appellate and supreme court decisions that changed claims, defenses, and/or analyses in construction litigation. Participants will receive a summary of all new laws passed affecting the construction practice and a citation summary of all Missouri and Kansas construction, real estate, and other pertinent cases.
